About Us
BFDI Educational Services (BES) is committed to supporting rigor, relevancy and relationships in the teaching and learning process. We are committed to supporting tangible strategies for long-term academic success.
BES employs committed professionals who serve as positive role models that empower and inspire each student placed in our care. Students learn and develop the competencies, skills, and personal traits necessary for academic success.
BES focuses on the social and emotional needs of staff and students. Just as we need food, shelter, and clothing, we all need strong and meaningful relationships to thrive. Restorative Practices is one of the pillars that support the social and emotional needs of students and staff. Restorative Practices is infused in the climate and culture of the school environment, as it strengthens the relationship between individuals, and when it is used effectively, it repairs harm and facilitates a fair process. Restorative Practices helps to keep students in the learning environment, rather than unnecessary suspension and expulsion. Our students learn best when they are in a caring, supportive, safe, and nurturing school environment.
BES’ leadership team are strong, committed advocates in the educational eco-system. BES leads a strong advocacy role in the city, region, and state in the educational eco-system. We advocate on behalf of the total school community, with a particular focus on advancing funding, policies, and practices to support the needs of students, parents, and the school staff. Our goal is to ensure that staff and students have access to the needed resources to ensure access to a quality education. .
